While Microsoft Edge does not let you pin frequently-accessed websites to the Windows 10 taskbar, you can at least pin them within the browser so they are always available.

Favorites in Microsoft Edge work much like bookmarks do in other browsers. But Microsoft Edge also offers another way to quickly access your favorite websites: You can pin them to the browser as special tabs that appear every time you open Edge. Pinned web pages appear as mini-tabs at the top left of Edge, and to the left of the first normal tab.

To pin a page to Edge, open it in the browser and then right-click in the tab at the top. Then, choose “Pin” from the pop-up menu that appears. You can, in turn, unpin a pinned tab in the same manner: Just choose “Unpin” from the pop-up menu that appears.

Note: Pinned tabs only appear in the first Edge window you open.
